Funny that Christie was asked about this, because I was just thinking this morning how much shit he caught for his “Obama embrace” after the hurricane leveled NJ.

Like that’s just a time when politics gets set aside, and POTUS is over FEMA, who was there for disaster relief. Even if it was Obama, it’s the governor’s job to work with POTUS in an emergency.

But Kasich to endorse Biden ... these never Trump idiots need to be purged from the party.

That Obama embrace on the beach was a bridge too far, coming when everybody was mad about Obamacare

Pede from the area here, the “Obama embrace” was a political good show. NJ is a deep blue state, and Obama did his job right. It was an act of political humility. Obamacare or not, this was a good moment of a headstrong conservative in a blue state setting aside political differences with a hardcore democrat president, so they could repair NJ after tens of billions of dollars in damages

Maybe so for NJ, but for the rest of the country it was anathema

Which? Obamacare or Obama and Christie hugging? Because the former is of course horrible policy and fucked over everyone in all 50 states. The latter is a showing of good faith and should be admired, because it shows people can still put aside political differences for civil discourse and cooperation

He didnt used to be, but something happened to him. He was a budget hawk in the 90s in Congress and a conservative here. Then he got married.

We said "you can have him" very blatantly in the 2016 primary. Sad when your own party doesn't want you so you switch sides to keep yourself relevant.

I hope the free buffet they promised him was worth it.

Probably had a lot of different types of pancakes on it. (Listened to Rush today and he was talking about how Trump insulted Kasuck's pancake inhaling.)

Tonight? They can have him three years ago... Romney too. I’ll throw in Paul Ryan, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski.

Trump broke so many people, and Kasich is one of them

Says the fat fuck who hugged oblubber a few days before the 2012 election while most of our State was destroyed by Sandy

Libertysheimdall1 7 points ago +7 / -0

Accurate. Kasich only confirms that we all made a good choice by selecting Trump over the deep state RINOs they were offering us.

Obama-hugging Chris Christie doesn’t have room to talk. The Dems can have Christie too.

MrWinMan 4 points ago +4 / -0

Not really a Christie fan, but this reminded me of when he nuked Little Marco Rubio's presidential chances in a primary debate. 2016 was such a fun year

While still the lame-duck governor of Ohio he veto'd legislation that would make a person defending their home from a home invasion innocent until proven guilty (yes, really, in ohio you were presumed guilty until you could prove innocence, thankfully the legislature passed it again with the next governor)

and he veto'd legislation to make abortion more difficult.

He's worse than a RINO.

Both of these guys suck mad balls

Bubbahax 1 point ago +1 / -0

Even better, he went on to say that Kasich would be constantly calling Biden (probably asking for a spot in his cabinet) and that Biden would have to change his number.

DNC you can have him.

I cannot stand the self-righteousness mentality of never Trumpers. Especially since more times than most, they are some of the most dishonest, back-stabbing people out there. Christie nailed this one.

Remember when Kasich shot down the $400m that was supposed to build a Cleveland-Columbus-Cincinnati passenger rail line? Pepperidge farm remembers
