FFS TERM LIMITS!!!!!!!

The problem with term limits is it transfers power from elected officials to unelected deep-state bureaucrats. While our elected officials become term-limited, the career Washington bureaucrats continue working behind the scenes.

So we would constantly elect fresh faces and the deep state would stall any major reformer until their term limit is up. And then another inexperienced fresh face steps in to be railroaded by the deep state. We need to fix that problem before term limits will help.

I think the best solution is to scatter the Federal Government throughout the country. With modern communication there's no reason it needs to be confined to a single city with a single prevailing ideology. In addition we might want to extend term limits to all federal employees, with some exceptions made for the military, post office, etc. Once that is done we can implement term limits without extending the power of the deep state.

good points, however, maybe limiting the carrier length of government employees would work...

Or maybe just limit the amount of time they can hold any positions at or above whatever the beaurocratic equivalent is to VP positions.
