All you naysayers are missing the point. This is Trump letting the air out of the tires of another Liberal “moment” YET AGAIN. There are multiple houses in my heavily Dem neighborhood (a multi-generational family that is deeply involved in the public schools here) that have been flying the purple-white-yellow “Women’s Suffrage Flag” for about a month leading up to this anniversary. They’ve been banking on claiming it and using it for their own purposes because naturally the public schools don’t teach any sort of accurate history. So not only does Trump deny them the chance to reeee over his supposed “sexism,” but he reminds them that every civil rights initiative that’s been worth a damn in this country belongs to the Republicans. Why didn’t the enlightened Barry pardon her? Maybe they can ask him this week at the DNC, hahaha!
