Trolled the shit out of the left, that's for sure. So I wouldn't say it accomplished nothing. Ruining your enemies morale is paramount.

This. Plus, they can't speak out against it.

Oh, I'm not saying they won't try. I'm just saying they will make jerks of themselves. 😉

How did this troll the left? Actually pardoning people we want a pardon for trolls the left, they're probably laughing. This trolls us.

Who could he possibly pardon? Assange? He hasn't been convicted with anything to pardon yet. People need to get real.

Pardoning people, and other completely different people not yet facing justice for their crimes are not even in the same realm of thought.

Trump is the executive. He's not the judicial branch, and he isn't the prosecutor.

Anyone on our side who felt trolled by this needs a reality check. "Aw, wah, why didn't Trump fix the world yet?". Get real. And don't get mad at him. There's an army of mild Republicans out there who voted for the do nothing RS in Congress. You're mad? Vote out useless incumbents. Not everything is overarching. Sometimes you take things day by day.

Ruining your enemies morale is paramount.

But it has to be counterbalanced by the loss of any moral on your own side and, while I'm definitely not reduced to a REEEEEing hysteria as the SJW's probably were, I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed in Trump's choice.
