But the cables were embarrassing to the U.S. because they talked about how the King of Thailand murdered his brother in order to seize the throne decades ago (like, what, just after WW2 or thenabouts), so how dare the U.S. ally itself to such a scumbag, reeeeeee, etc., etc.
I'm on the side of Snowden being a CIA spokesman, tbh. Free Assange. Pardoning Snowden would be good political gesture, but otherwise I don't see any point to it.
