I don't think northeasterners like Texas that much. They love Florida but something about Texas doesn't appeal to them. But I don't mind MAGA pedes moving here. Most of the liberals I run into are native Texans and a lot of the based folks have recently fled from other states. If that keeps this state solid red, I'm OK. The way housing prices and property taxes are here now, I think a lot of people fleeing their blue states will be looking at other states cost wise. For cost of living and housing prices, Texas is not at the top of the list anymore.
