Of course Goodyear has refused to comment on it. If they do I’m willing to bet they’re waiting to figure out who to throw under the bus to return that was the action of a rogue employee.

Here's their comment found on Cleveland19.com

“Goodyear is committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace where all of our associates can do their best in a spirit of teamwork. As part of this commitment, we do allow our associates to express their support on racial injustice and other equity issues but ask that they refrain from workplace expressions, verbal or otherwise, in support of political campaigning for any candidate or political party as well as other similar forms of advocacy that fall outside the scope of equity issues.”

Weird.. The source image in the article is smaller than your image; it's clipped to remove the OneTeam employee loyalty branding.

My image was pulled from a FB post, but I wanted to include an article that confirmed the story.

Here is the original picture. It was taken last night at a Goodyear planet in Topeka, KS.

Political slogans are unacceptable while they endorse a political slogan.

Michelin or Bridgestone FTW.

Goodyears have been dreadful since the late 1980s.

IdahoMan87 9 points ago +9 / -0

Michelins are junk. Thin, floppy sidewalls and weak rubber vulcanization. Try running a flat repair buffer on the inside and that first layer will peel right off.

Mastercraft, Cooper, Hankook, and Falken are the good shit. Lots of smaller companies making great tires too.

4
Bax101 4 points ago +4 / -0

Try landing at 400 mph with a 747. Those fuckin tires last one or 2 landings. They fuckin suck dick.

3
IlIlIlIlIl 3 points ago +5 / -2

Local repair shop owner swears by Hankook. He also cites safety statistics to customers who ask why he prefers them.

4
HillarysFatAss 4 points ago +4 / -0

Well shit. I just replaced my Hankooks with Michelins. Live and learn.

thisisatestof2 3 points ago +3 / -0

I’ve had good luck with Mastercraft and Cooper tire as well. Had very similar to performance to what I would expect from the big name brands.

3
Mr.GoodWrench 3 points ago +3 / -0

Cooper Tires have never let me down!!!!

MisterKag 1 point ago +1 / -0

Bullcrap. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

If you do any club racing whatsoever at tracks such as Watkins Glen, you wouldn’t see anyone being caught dead driving on those crap brands. Several come from CHINA.

Anyone putting their life on the line at over 150 on a track rides on Michelins or Bridgestones, with the occasional guy on a budget running on Contis.

1
IdahoMan87 1 point ago +1 / -0

Dude, I spent 10 years working in tire shops. Everything from drag slicks to skidders. I know damn good and well what I’m taking about.

1
MisterKag 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sure you have.

Ten whole years? Big whoop. My first ride goes back to the LBJ era. I’ve also litigated commercial tire failure cases for over 25 years. I know all about the industry. Those cheaper mechanics’ brands do not measure up to the best of the Big Two. They just don’t.

Michelin’s radial X construction technologies are still some of the most closely guarded trade secrets in the industry, and no one else has been able to figure them out, or how Michelin builds them.

1
IdahoMan87 1 point ago +1 / -0

So you’re a lawyer? Where else have we seen lawyers claiming to have more knowledge than the actual technicians who get their hands dirty and do the work? Oh yeah, Washington DC! The military! Even Goodyear! You’re part of the bureaucracy that thinks they know it all from reading other people’s notes, when you actually have ZERO real-world experience.

1
MisterKag 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’ve probably personally mounted more auto and truck tires than you have. And I know I have interacted with more tire engineers and experts than you have.

The fact is, you just don’t know all that much about the industry, other than what works in your locality on a few passenger car models. And that’s fine.

But next time, don’t go off half-cocked trashing the top names in the tire industry. You have no clue about all the technology that goes into a modern tire.

Goodyear? Goodbye!

Goodyear about to have a Badyear

9
PaigeAshley 9 points ago +9 / -0

That's appalling. That company has been around for years, and years. It owes America so much for its success.

9
Basileus 9 points ago +9 / -0

Black Lives Matter IS a political affiliated slogan

8
Bax101 8 points ago +8 / -0

My girlfriend is getting the same training at the bank. Seems to be some sort of new orders from the UN Globalists.

6
jdovejr 6 points ago +6 / -0

So Black people are more important that any other race? Wow, that's extremely racist.

7
TruthyBrat 7 points ago +7 / -0

If you need a color qualifier in front of “Lives Matter”, you might be a racist!

6
NdNcenti 6 points ago +6 / -0

But everything listed acceptable, is politically affiliated!

4
MaoHatesSparrows 4 points ago +4 / -0

GET WOKE, GO BROKE!

Time to add another one to the list.

4
Aeronomer 4 points ago +4 / -0

Fucking Marxist bullshit. Where do these woke commie CEO's come from anyway?

4
yallsegregationist 4 points ago +4 / -0

it’s getting hard to keep track of where i should spend my money

3

Acceptable: black lives matter.

Unacceptable: Any political slogans or material. (All lives matter is political)

From this, one can guess that the top of Goodyear management are blackmailed and most likely pedophiles.

Funny, at my employer they were making us do all sorts of blm sensitivity training (wasn't actually blm, but similar stuff). In the Q&A that happened afterwards someone asked if we could have Candace Owen come speak. They responded "we don't actively support political speech on either side." Amazing

1
Salt-N-Pepe 1 point ago +1 / -0

I used to take 365 used condoms make a tire out of it and call it a good year

But seriously

I just replaced my shredding Michelin tires piecemeal for all Goodyears from Nov. - March. Now what

Goodbye, Goodyear

1
LeftistsAreInsane 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thank you for posting this. I have Goodyears on my vehicle and have been thinking about replacing them with a different brand. Now I'm absolutely going with another brand! I'd honestly prefer that these leftist companies continue to out themselves so I can avoid them instead of unwittingly donating to them.

Also, how fucking unintentionally hilarious is this image? Unacceptable: all lives matter. You don't matter. YOU ARE ALL EQUALLY WORTHLESS.

1
MythArcana 1 point ago +1 / -0

Incredibly expensive and overrated bullshit tires. I take my swanky ass to Discount Tires and get a great job done every time for less.

FullAutoAssaultMemes 1 point ago +1 / -0

Gonna be nothing but Badyears for them!
