Would it be nice to have data of how many would've survived if everyone had been muzzled? Yes and no. Yes in that more data is always good. No in that some of the people that survived would have gotten sick and suffered, just the viral load would've been low enough that they could've recovered. And to try a valid A/B comparison would be unethical and cruel, despite the value of the data obtained. Just like crying about "double blind studies of HCQ."
Nope, you give sick people the best care possible, especially when you know there's risk of it being serious. Even if it's not fatal. That means no confirmed positive cases go into the same facility as uninfected people, much less the same room. And it also means that you give people Dr Zelenko's protocol as soon as they're diagnosed, without waiting for a test result. And you give people at risk HCQ +zinc as a preventative measure.
Do that and our death count would still be below 2,000, had all 50 Governors had just that much sense.
