I have a family member who is a doctor in Denver. I have been trying to tell them that the deaths from the response to COVID would outstrip those from COVID alone. They got really upset and pulled the “I’m a doctor, I’m right regardless of what you think” card.

I’m tempted to send them this. Really, really tempted. Not sure if it’s worth the screeching though.
