I'm no spring chicken and radio stations used to play this song on Oldies Night when I was a kid. This video is brought to you by the same people who thought Hillary would win the youth vote by claiming to be a Katy Perry fan.

Buffalo Springfield. Definitely a Boomer song. It was a protest song about the same type of shit that is going on right now. Just like then, the problem is no the cops, it's the blacks and commie kids showing how horrible they can be.

I'm a big Neil Young fan and so I know about these guys. Interesting thing I saw a couple years ago in Wyoming. I came across a highway sign that said Buffalo and Springfield. I thought wow, those guys had to come through here from Canada on the way to LA where they started. This must be how they came up with that name. I think whatever way you choose you are either going to go through Billings or Rapid City and you are going to have to go through Buffalo. Anyway, I thought it was interesting.

It is pretty funny to see all these old hippies that screamed “fuck the man” 50 years ago now peddling for that very man. I blame acid.

Nah. That's like saying Umbrella Man "caused" the Mpls riots. The hippies embraced LSD fully, as did many other subcultures, and it continues today.

I dunno, I'd lick the whipped cream off Katy Perry's boobs, don't care if she's leftarded.

The original song was great. My favorite version is the cover by the Band of Joy. https://youtu.be/LJsAUczoaM0

If you think it sounds just like Led Zeppelin, that’s because this was the band that the singer and drummer of LZ were in before they started LZ with Jimmy Page.
