I'm a big Neil Young fan and so I know about these guys. Interesting thing I saw a couple years ago in Wyoming. I came across a highway sign that said Buffalo and Springfield. I thought wow, those guys had to come through here from Canada on the way to LA where they started. This must be how they came up with that name. I think whatever way you choose you are either going to go through Billings or Rapid City and you are going to have to go through Buffalo. Anyway, I thought it was interesting.

Nah. That's like saying Umbrella Man "caused" the Mpls riots. The hippies embraced LSD fully, as did many other subcultures, and it continues today.
