THE single greatest issue that kick started my long road from atheism to the Church was the realization that modern, “enlightened” living was misanthropic and would lead to the extinction of the human race. The logical end of atheist, liberal, feminist, modern thought is hatred. Meanwhile, creation is an act of love. You can’t understand any of this unless you understand love of neighbor and the true value and purpose of human life. And that only comes from a proper understanding of your place in the scheme of things, under God. Some people bristle at this, but it’s true.
