It sucks that in order to get a negative response to defunding the police in the black community, you always have to seek out a 55+ or older from the victim class.
I think it takes them until that age, when they are basically great grandfathers already and likely don't know their own great grandkids jumping them for the few dollars they have.
They have to get to a point where they no longer have their own kids at home being criminal, to suddenly develop an ethical, moral position on it.
