Since they deleted the nice Native American lady from their label, that was designed by a Native American, I've seen their butter on sale a few times and reached right past for something else more expensive. BFG is owned by Michelin. No, they’re not based but Michelin makes some of the best tires and BFG makes solid AT tires. Goodyear isn’t very good.
Bridgestone is good. They are about the same price range as Goodyear but imo they are a better tire. They are also made in USA.
