I've always found these questions strange...the left CLAIMS they're not racist, but then they won't remove RACE from the hiring or education process. Imagine if recruiters didn't even know what race you were until the 2nd/3rd interview because the first one would be a phone call. That seems to me to be the best way forward, unfortunately, we've got a group of perpetually butthurt retards who have convinced large corporations that THEY know what they're talking about and instead make EVERYTHING about race and gender.

I wonder what would happen if you say you wish not to provide information

I didn't do it on my latest job application and I got hired. Fuck it, don't put it down.

Or say that you're hispanic. Make them prove that you're not, and act offended if anyone challenges you on it. (Hispanics aren't a "race", and most hispanics are white)

This is the only right answer.

Companies are increasingly being pressured (and in some States, forced by regulation) to collect EEOC data on their employees, but it is VOLUNTARY. If they don't get responses, they can't report on their diversity info, shrug their shoulders, and tell regulatory bodies "Gee we don't know what our ethnic/blah blah makeup is because our employees refused to disclose it. Go pound sand with your racist, arbitrary quotas"

"Not Specified" or "Prefer not to disclose" is always the best option"
