I was red-pilled during the Kavanaugh and Sandmann era.

Lockdowns for me. Still pissed it took me that long, although I didn't have much interest until then because I was focused on my career. This is what happens when you stop the whole world, people have nothing to do but start paying attention

That's a great point. In a normal election year, people would be enjoying their summer, vacationing, etc. Now they're stuck at home in burning cities with nothing to do. You bet they're paying more attention.

Here now, that's what matters.

Not blaming just you, but not showing much interest in politics is why we are here. People get complacent because their lives are too busy to show interest in their communities. The ones who do show interest, are the vocal liberals. I'm glad you have finally seen the light, but this stuff runs deep. Many don't realize how bad the democrat party has always been. I'm registered republican, but I don't vote strictly republican. If conservative was an option, id be that.

Oh, I've researching almost every moment of time I have. I've already to learn about most important stuff leading back to the 70s. Still much more to learn

I honestly don’t even remember what my “red pill” moment was. It was before Obama’s first term, tho. A lot of the information about the Weather Underground, and ACORN caused me to question a lot of things and lead me to the Tea Party when they were first gathering. After Obama’s second election, I gave up paying any attention to politics at all.... up until before the debates in 2016. I voted for Trump, but I only really boarded the Trump train, for real, in Feb-March of ‘17. Haven’t looked back since. Couldn’t be more proud of my President. Glad to hear more people are stepping in to the light, and out of the dark.

Welcome! You are in the company of many formal liberals here. I am beyond angry at how they are perverting the message of working on closing disparities and now actively spewing Racist and Anti-America rhetoric.

Disparities will never be closed if we keep telling children they are at a disadvantage because of the situation they were born into. I really think its going to do the opposite and its going to exacerbate inequalities by having kids put in less effort to better their situation. I reached my threshold in 2017 and am a regretful HRC voter.

While also being the most racist and bigoted group of people I've ever seen.

The main way that white progressives/liberals are racist is because they assume minorities are too stupid/incompetent/lazy to help themselves and need the "help" of enlightened white people.

That is their plan, pede.

The modern Republican party embraces true liberalism (personal freedoms and personal responsibility) moreso than the modern democratic party, which wants everything (including how we lead our lives) to be run by some omnipotent super-state.. So it is entirely possible to be a liberal and a Trump supporter.

It's literally gone from Dem vs. Rep, to Communists vs. Everybody else

Ah, yes. I do love me John Locke, too bad his stuff was suppressed for several hundred years... Imagine how much further along we'd be

Really socialism has greater inequalities as the politiicans become the rich elite and everyone else becomes poor.

Can’t believe I was a trump supporter from the beginning it’s crazy how many new supporters pop up wonder what caused the red pills

I was born a hardcore conservative, but when I heard Trump was running, I wasn't enthusiastic at all. My words were, "Come on, THAT guy?"

After I heard one speech, I was 100% on board. I have been ferociously pro-Trump ever since.

Polygauge 1 point ago +2 / -1

I think that's part of it. Most of these leftists only tune in to the "highlights" rather than take the time to watch the full thing

If even half of these "I used to be a liberal" posts on here are true then Trump is going to win in a landslide.

Welcome, Fren.

She's hot AND based af. What's the problem?

-1
Hivetyrant36 -1 points ago +1 / -2

The problem is accepting thot culture. The problem is allowing whores. The problem is celebrating a person for nothing but their looks. You need to read the bible. Have higher standards, pervert.
