That article makes a case for abused kids growing up to be abusers and of course they want you to be conflicted with sympathizing with her while being disgusted with the crime, but it's still way too much for a speaker at the fucking DNC. She can go around being the poster child for prison rehabilitation (I have no idea what she's done since being released from prison) but to put her on display at the DNC just draws the kind of attention they don't need. I would have never heard of her or her crimes if she wasn't a speaker.
