Lady at the front door said "Sir!", and I just waived her off. She said it twice more and I just kept walking. Went back, got my salmon, paid for it, smiled and said thanks to a clerk, who then said "Sir, just so you're aware next time..." and I just waived him off and said "I don't care."
On my way out I looked at the woman manning the door straight in the eye and said, "My body, my choice, right?" She said, "No!" and started to say something, so I just cut her off and said "No, no, ma'am. My body, my choice. If you're scared, stay home. Have a great day." And made my exit with a smile on my face.
Don't capitulate. Be a nuisance. Stand up for your rights. If things escalate, don't argue, just go about your business silently like you're deaf, or chant "My body, my choice", "If you're scared, stay home", and if things really escalate "Go ahead and call the cops, but if you touch me, I'll sue."
Easy peasy. Liberty is mine.
Went grocery shopping without a mask the other day and it's almost ridiculous how exhilarating it was lol. I almost hoped someone would confront me as my plan was to simply pretend that I couldn't speak english
