I bought a retired Crown Victoria Police Interceptor a few months ago that has stock Goodyear Eagle RS-A's all around. To be honest, I think it's a great tire, with fantastic grip and handling. But after the bullshit Goodyear has pulled, I'm not giving them a cent. Can anyone recommend a relatively affordable replacement to the RS-A?

I dunno, but make sure you don't get Dunlap or Douglas, they are subsidiaries of Goodyear.

Continental or go up a notch to Michelin

Michelin is undeniably the very best tire made. You won't be disappointed.

True but you pay for it. Michelin also makes Goodrich which are very good. All American company is Cooper which I have bought many times.
