Not very because your child doesn't go to school if you don't. You can't send your child to another school because you have to live in that district. So it's either this, homeschool your kids, or spend 45k on a private school. You're an average parent making 70k as a household and both parents have fulltime jobs. It's August 20th and school starts in a week. What do you think parents are going to do? Yeah, this is extremely insiduous and messed up and it makes me vomit that it's a Trump appointed department of education sending out guidelines to exclude parents from this process. It looks like we have A LOT more work to do this year than I imagined.

They can't kick your kid out of school if you don't agree to sign it.
