I think you're mostly right. I think it's almost impossible to NOT be exposed to the left's narrative since it's everywhere. For that reason, I agree that conservatives generally have a fuller understanding of the news.
That said, we may still have skewed ideas about how much support there is out there for Trump. Who knows how big or how motivated the silent majority really is? We've seen some encouraging signs in think but we can't discount the role of wishful thinking either.
