Kind of hard to see what's up here, do they make shoe soles for tons of shoes or are these used in other brands? I support the idea here but it needs clarity for people to know how to apply this.
They make rubber and things that use rubber, like shoe soles. My guess is there aren't too many main players in the rubber industry and they probably sell TONS of soles.
I have no idea how an individual consumer can determine what brand sole is on his shoes, though.
Goodyear welts are kind of an industry standard for most work boots because of its waterproof feature. i dunno if Vibram would serve the same purpose. its very little rubber and wouldnt effect their business much.there are no Goodyear brand shoes.
