We HAVE to get involved in our local elections and figure out how to run patriots. The presidential election doesn't really affect your day to day life like local. The dems have taken over all of our major cities and are destroying us on purpose with locally elected officials. Voter turn out is sometimes less than 5% in my city. Patriots, even though a huge minority, could take an election by using low turn out on the other side. We don't have anyone to vote for, since you have to be a corrupt POS to get financial backing to campaign. We have to go grass roots and get some ass kickers in office that will shake it up. My city will be little chicago in a matter of years. White flight, sanctuary city, defund police, record # of murders last month, schools won't reopen, ect.
The Harris County (Houston,TX) Republican party has sucked ass for a long, long time. They're so inept that their very existence (if you can call it that) helped me see how important local politics is to maintaining a patriotic, independent mindset.

Go to your city or county and look/ask about volunteering to seve on boards or commissions. These are unpaid positions, which you show up for maybe one night a week. The boards and commission are the feeders to the local city/county positions...then you can run for school boards, or even city council positions.
But beware.....once you start getting involved...you will be disgusted. you will likely be surprised and disheartened to find out how left wing nut jobs the people in the local gov are...how corrupt they are...how manipulative, etc etc...
I served on a board for the city of long beach, CA, and when I escaped CA and moved to a small rural town in AZ, i volunteered and was appointed to 2 boards..and even in that small role, I was shocked to see how horrible the local government is.
I now live outside of any city limits in unincorporated area...so can't sit on any city boards...
But the local city/county boards, commissions, offices are where we need non marxist non authoriarians......government positions and offices have a way of attracting lazy, dumb, pushy, nanny shitbirds...and as awful an experience it is...we all need to do our part...because they ARE turning each little community blue....very very slowly.

Once you've built a reputation as a great mayor perhaps the next step is to run for something in the state-Congress or Senate. She is part of a group that moved out here (fairly rural area) and some of these people don't even have kids in the district but are suing the school repeatedly because we implemented arming some of our teachers. I think this latest lawsuit is the fifth or sixth. Everytown is helping them. This year our school is paying an astronomical amount of money in insurance because of these lawsuits. They are taking money directly from these children they want to supposedly protect! Really pisses me off. You come in here, to this place I've lived since second grade, and start trying to fundamentally change us? Hell. No.
