Texans... Even if you have your LTC, it's NOT permitted and they don't have to post the signs. I'd just be familiar with the polling place ahead of time to determine if it could be a problem. It wouldn't surprise me that they would have metal detectors and/or security checks at certain polling stations.

Honestly, I agree with keeping one in the chamber, with so many new owners, I'm not recommending it to the masses. If they absolutely must, get a good firearm with a grip safety.

Check accidental discharge laws as well. Some states its an automatic felony.. so don't always carry one in the chamber.
