I think from a broad-based perspective they are all forms of government tyranny. Sort of the opposite of freedom. The end result is hegemonic domination of the general population through authoritarian means.

You're being purposefully pedantic. The point of the original comment was to fight back against obvious, contrived bullshit - not perform a vivisection into the differences of communism, socialism, and fascism.

The original comment gained traction because the powers that be simply change masks from one to the other when prudent to do so.

An authoritarian government always leads to a fiefdom where a handful of wealthy and powerful families control the land and its populace, where they are the Lords and the populace are the serfs.

That's why they are the same.
