Israel is the eyes and ears for us in the Middle East. I'm fairly confident to say they've been pretty important for our empire-building there, as well as the Saudis. We wouldn't be giving them $4 billion a year for nothing or because "the Jews". Our military industrial complex, oil industry, and geopolitical ambitions dwarf Israel. Not sure why people believe they are the tail that wags the giant dog. The fact that they are best friends with Trump and it meaning nothing to our own Deep State is proof enough.
