The official Republican platform is extremely based. RINOs abound, and they utterly reject the party's own platform. @Rusty_Bungus is talking about infiltrating your local party with true patriots who will support the proclaimed platform of the party, and outnumber / remove those who refuse to do so.

I will not say where or when, except I know a medium sized town in Virginia where local patriots did this, took over the local Republican party in a matter of weeks. It can be done, and sadly in many places, it's leftists that have already done it, but we can take them back.
