LOL He's right, and so is she. BTW those who blame Palin for McCain's loss are wrong. SHE is the one who brought energy to the campaign, and brought people to the rallies. In the end, it wasn't enough to make up for McCain's lack of enthusiasm for his own candidacy, and apologetic promotion of Obama.

Just Uniparty placeholders doing their part. They were both repaid 10 fold for throwing their elections.

Hell, Romney is not a Republican, is a 1st term Senator and is already on at least 1 Senate committee. Uniparty traitors.

Oh i think he wanted it. When the media hammer came down on palin it broke him. There had never been a Trump that stood up to them at that point. He gave up under a liitle pressure.

Late in the campaign McCain said he believed in an "organic campaign" where things happen without planning. What a load of BS. He did as he was told and threw that election.

I still feel so bad for that little old lady who approached him looking for reassurance at that rally. The media smeared her as a racist and an Islamophobe and a conspiracy believer.

She was none of those things. She simply saw clearer than most. I hope she lived to see Trump

For those unfamiliar. She's at the 30sec mark.

Time for this reminder again:

McCain married his mistress he was cheating on his wife with, a wife who stayed by him during his time as a POW. The mistress, Cindy Lou Hensley, was the daughter of Jim Hensley, who worked in partnership with Edgar Bronfman for well known mobster Meyer Lansky in Arizona during Prohibition smuggling booze and all kinds of other things across the Arizona/Mexico border. McCain used the Hensley family fortune earned from these trafficking crimes to fund his run for office.

Edgar Bronfman’s name might be familiar to you because his daughter Claire, heiress to the Seagrams liquor fortune, recently made headlines as being one of the ringleaders of the NXIVM sex cult along with Keith Raniere. This cult was busted in Mexico for child sex slave trafficking and involved several young actresses like Alison Mack from the TV show Smallville. They were known for branding the members of the sex cult with a mark in the shape of their intitials. Claire Bronfman was reported to have passed out in court when it was revealed that Michael Avenatti was one of her lawyers. Michael Avenatti infamously represented porn whore Stormy Daniels, who claimed to have had sex with President Trump while he was married. It was discovered that a few years ago, Stormy Daniels had tweeted that she thought she had just joined a cult, and a brand similar to the NXIVM brand was covered up by one of her hideous tattoos.

It’s clear why McCain was so dead set against Trump. The world is run by a huge cult like cabal that traffics children as sex slaves and feeds off harming the innocent for their own benefit.

Don’t forget about the Keating Five financial scandal in 1987 involving both McCain and Neil Bush.

10
NotoriousCIC 10 points ago +11 / -1

Although I was young voter during that time, McCain getting the nominee was a death nail (same for Romney). Bush was so hated. So hated. You trot out an angry old white guy to run against a 40-something charismatic mixed dude with a population that wanted to make history? Then we follow it up in 2012 by putting out a cartoon stereotype of Republicans to go against Obama in 2012. By most measures, Obama should have lost in 2012 especially with Benghazi. But again, the GOP had two giant pussies at the helm.

5
DebbieinDallas 5 points ago +5 / -0

I cried when Obama was elected in 2008. Not because he was 1/4 black but because he was a commie. Now the whole dem party is commie.

This is accurate. I remember how much she energized that ticket when she was announced and then the Left (and the insiders of the Uniparty) tried to destroy her.

Most all the people attending those rallies were there because of Palin...McCain was one of the worst candidates in history to be at the top of the ticket.

28
SauronWasFramed 28 points ago +29 / -1

His mistake was that he assumed that being the media darling because he was so “mavericky” for opposing the republicans was not going to change. The second he accepted the nomination, they flipped on him.

And rather than see the media for being his enemies, he tried to repair his reputation with them by doing the things they approved.

Screw him, his legacy, and his children.

26
user6395 26 points ago +26 / -0

You give him too much credit. McCain is just a cretin who does the bidding of the Deep State. Mavericky was just an act for the masses, helped by a media-supported facade. That said, I completely agree with your last sentence.

I think you're both right. McCain did want the glory on some level, but his corrupt swamp nature also allowed him to play the patsy.

The worst was that he let Palin take all the heat. I think they made him a deal - you let us destroy your VP, and we won't bring up your extremely sketchy military record (like the Swift Boat Vets did with Kerry) or your various financial scandals.

And remember, McCain was ass deep in the Ukrainian money deals, just as Biden is.

25
AndyCuomoIsAMobster 25 points ago +25 / -0

McCain is a Uniparty slug. You can tell by how the Left treated him after he died. Also see: how the Left treats GW Bush now that he's some frilly painter who gets caught hobnobbing with Ellen at Cowboys games. All Uniparty slugs selling this country out to Socialism so they can dance on our bodies with complete control. We must destroy them all.

8

And the geniuses behind the McCain campaign are now part of the Never Trump bunch who get regular time on the fake news networks for bashing Trump. They are probably butthurt that the days of charging millions as campaign "consultants" while their candidate loses are long over since Trump won.

I don't know that McCain/Palin would have won no matter what, but she is right. They did run a horrible campaign. And of course they blame Palin when she was probably the only good decision McCain made during his campaign. I was sad she lost, but McCain would have been a terrible president.

13
Imjustin1000 13 points ago +13 / -0

McCain and Obama were the same candidate. Romney and Obama were also the same candidate. After Trumps time as president is done we cant afford to go back to these old establishment RINO’s . WE NEED THE MAGA PARTY!

7
NotoriousCIC 7 points ago +7 / -0

After the 2012 election, Republican voters, most at least, self examined on why they had lost. They had produced two Dem-Lite candidates who weren't much different from Obama at all and predictably...lost. So when 2015 came around, the GOP, again, tried to give us another shit establishment candidate in Jeb Bush. The voters gave them the finger and we put Trump as our candidate. The establishment shit all over him, wanted him to drop out, and was so out of touch with voters. The Dems, on the other hand, double down on their losses.

What other options did we have? I couldn't believe he was the candidate. Then they gave us Romney, many better options in 2012 but we get Romney. Fortunately we got Trump in 2016. If not for Trump the Uniparty would have given us !Jeb and therefore HRC. Maybe Rand Paul would have tried to win, but the rest would have been bought off. I want to believe in Cruz, but on 2016 I'm not so sure he couldn't have been bought off.

I pray Trump wins in November. The GOP would then have 4 more years to get their act together. Personally, I'm not voting for another Rino again.

9
runonce 9 points ago +9 / -0

Romney was the RINO's last gasp. The idiot dems talk about the party switch (which is whole 'nother level of stupid) but TRUMP is the real Republican switch. He ran as a Republican but the traditional Republican Party is gone and as a Rabid lifelong Republican I say, good riddance.

Besides what others said, it's also a symptom of Consolidation. Big corporations are basically socialist fiefdoms, where out-of-university and diversity hire employees get cushy jobs in middle-management and HR jobs just telling people what to do, in companies they had no part in founding or making successful. They also pander to the woke crowd because they are the loudest on social media, and the management decides they need to be "socially conscious" for PR reasons. On top of that, the big tech companies today were founded by idealistic people that wanted to change the word. They were motivated to become as big and powerful as possible by destroying or buying up their competition. They are the minority.

The majority of successful tech startups, on the other hand, follow the "serial entrepreneur" model. They figure out how to execute new ideas and make them profitable, only so that they can be bought out by those few tech companies that desire to get bigger and bigger. Rinse and repeat. The businessmen that don't care about lefty ideas just want to make enough money to retire with a yacht and a few mansions.

Hence, we only end up with big corporations promoting left issues becoming more and more powerful as they gobble everyone else up and entrench themselves in the Media-Tech-Politics complex.

Back in the 50's, it was thought dangerous for any one company to have more than 50% of market share in an industry. It obviously happened but was looked at with suspicion. Nowadays we're fine with it being commonplace. Both the Democrats and Republicans are to blame for this.
