It was, before Cloudflare and the Demcrats shut them down and completely deplatformed them, and even brought the owners before a congressional tribunal. They were nowhere near what they used to be, and had really been hit hard by censorship - like the rest of the interwebs - but, yeah. Probably the biggest and worst case of all out internet censorship I've seen so far. I think it's back as 8kun, now. I'm not sure if it's as big as it used to be, though. Depends how you come across. I still remember quite fondly when the old T_D board on reddit spoke out about how they did not want President Trump to go to war with Syria. Many of us spoke up about how such a thing would be a deal breaker for us. President Trump clearly became aware of our feedback and as a result we avoided another pointless war in the middle east. The disagreement with President Trump on such a thing was essential. It also showed that he really does listen to the people.
We do get a lot of shills here though. I'd say even more than we ever got on Reddit because at least there they were worried about getting banned from other subs for visiting us. Here they risk nothing, so we're constantly having to toss the losers out over and over again. It's a good reminder that we're winning though.
