I've heard of first responders being required to watch some of those to prepare them for what they may sadly have to see while on the job.

I'm not a first responder, but I've watched a lot of those gore posts for that reason. Just in case I ever have to deal with it in real life.

It's unfortunately very different in real life, just be prepared for that.

I live near Savannah, GA. A Dixie Crystals sugar refinery blew up at the Port Wentworth area in 2008. A first responder red cross worker described the scene as like "walking into hell." She said that there were people with their skin seeming to drip off their bodies into piles on the ground. Others had no skin at all.
