Dude I read a post on the subreddit for psychologists a while back, and it was this "therapist" that had a client that was in their office crying all the time about "what's the point of doing anything, we're going to die in 10 years from climate change anyway". The post was basically going on about how she didn't know what to do with the client other than acknowledge that they were right/how bad it sucks/etc. Also all of the comments were from other therapists essentially agreeing with how that's a legitimate worldview.

But Florida has a specific statute that reinforces the first amendment rights of teachers and makes it illegal to even ask teachers to say something different. I have had to email that to administration many times and once had to ask if I should call my lawyer. Someone has to fight this fight, people saying "fuck that I gotta feed my kids" don't understand that the food disappears shortly after the rights disappear anyway.
But on the other hand, doctors are high up on the career food chain and are not the ones that usually get fired or replaced, and if so still can get work across the street the same day... as for the smaller fish, it's not usually the case.

Even if your state is right to work, this could just be a CYA move on the part of the corporation. If your boss truly didn't care they wouldn't have brought it up. Even if they are cool with what you do on Facebook, their boss might not be and they are trying to make sure they don't get axed if this complaint goes further. I would approach this situation with a great deal of caution.
