I'm a teacher and I have been reported many times. I never state my opinion, only facts that are verifiable. The last one was that of all the Nobel prize winners, Barack Obama has ordered the most deadly drone strikes. But Florida has a specific statute that reinforces the first amendment rights of teachers and makes it illegal to even ask teachers to say something different. I have had to email that to administration many times and once had to ask if I should call my lawyer. Someone has to fight this fight, people saying "fuck that I gotta feed my kids" don't understand that the food disappears shortly after the rights disappear anyway.
But on the other hand, doctors are high up on the career food chain and are not the ones that usually get fired or replaced, and if so still can get work across the street the same day... as for the smaller fish, it's not usually the case.
