You may be misinterpreting the action taken by your boss here. A verbal 'warning' is a necessary first step in a termination process. Even if your state is right to work, this could just be a CYA move on the part of the corporation. If your boss truly didn't care they wouldn't have brought it up. Even if they are cool with what you do on Facebook, their boss might not be and they are trying to make sure they don't get axed if this complaint goes further. I would approach this situation with a great deal of caution.

More power to ya. I stopped caring what people thought a long time ago. Helps that I own my own business so if the HR dept has a problem with something I say, I just tell 'em to get lost! But if you don't have that luxury, just make sure you are aware that you are in this chess match whether you know it or not. Make wise moves. You certainly have our support!
