As per history, the Kaiser's victory wouldn't be that bad, a very large Germany though, owning Ukraine, and maybe French Hitler after the Germans take their anger out on the Allies, with most of the war's punishment going to France.

Germany didn't teeter on the brink of communism until 1918/19 - check out the German Revolution of 1919 and the Spartacist Uprising for more on the early attempt(s). Those were put down violently by the government and the Freikorps, who were mainly right-leaning WWI veterans who took up arms again to counter the violence started by the communists. During the First World War they were a monarchy like most of the other participants, and the Kaiser abdicated and the country turned into what is called Weimar Germany in the wake of that political upheaval.
The part about returning the favor to France is fairly accurate, but there were other interests who were more than happy to goad us into the "European war". The Lusitania was the big pretext to get sufficient public support for direct intervention.
