His taxes are handled by Mazars, a decent size and reputable firm. The IRS has probably looked at his taxes every year for the past...who knows? Trump org. financials are also audited by Mazars for debt covenant compliance, and maybe even at the venture level. UK entities require statutory audit under Companies act as well.
State of NY itself has also reviewed his state returns for lord knows how long. If there were a bombshell, we’d have seen it from those leakers, or heard some high profile story about how state of New York is going after orange man.
Plus Mazars partners aren’t going to allow any fuckery, because if there were any outright impropriety, they’d be booted from the partnership, tarred and feathered in the press, their CPA licenses would be revoked, they would be made to testify in congress, sent to prison, and sued.
