She's really a living testament to the fact that the best cure for being a liberal is experiencing the outcome of liberal policies. When I met her over a decade ago she was ultra-Left...and then went to work with 'impoverished' students in inner-cities. The degeneracy among the students, the parents, AND the disgusting attitudes from teachers completely changed her. She had enough intelligence to realize that the problem wasn't "racism" it was liberal policies. At this point she's as conservative as I am, and we're hopefully moving to Texas in a few years, baby in tow.
