Was that what happened?

I saw the video and the jogger who went out of his way to double/triple tap running over the racoon broke the animal's spine which caused it to enter death spasms.

The bat beating during the spasms were an undignified cruelty but perhaps also an inadvertent mercy.

The racoon was already dying by the time the beatings started. Probably ended the chubby guy quicker.

All of it was sick. The running over, the beating and the cheering.

Inadvertent (unintentional) mercy. The joggers were jogging the animal to death but the animal was already dying before the second round of jogging started.

The second round of jogging ended a more painful, extended death.

Here's some bad, unsolicited advice.

Try going on 4chan sometimes. They have compilations of joggers and joggeresses dying in really shitty situations (i.e. attempting to jog a store with an armed shopkeeper, joggeresses breaking their own necks while attempting twerk handstands, etc.).

I find it cools me down from going full manifesto when I see a RIP Cannon Hinnant post.

Thanks for the added context, tbh after the repeated running over, I could not watch the rest, I did give my dog a hug right away though.

Yeah, sorry for the play by play.

I did some butcher's work in my youth and I had to end some animals which were improperly put down by guys in training is probably why I could stomach that better than most.

Puts on CNN glasses: He's putting the raccoon out of it's misery!
