The point has been made ten thousand times. The Left has analog violence; the Right has digital violence.
They can turn up the heat a little bit when they need to; smash some shopfronts, burn some buildings, tear down some statues, and then slither off back into the shadows. Violence is a political tool.
The Right, on the other hand, has violence as a last resort. They're peaceful until they can no longer be, and then they're violent until the peace has been restored. There are a lot of good, moral men out there who only have two settings: Mr. Rogers, and Mr. Rwanda, and they're going to keep putting on their sweater vest and house shoes and inviting their enemies to be their neighbors right up until the day it can no longer be denied that there is a war going on.
The greater the scale of violence, the greater the barrier to initiating it.
I know what taking up arms entails, so I'm trying very, very hard to find a non-violent solution to the meme war.
The Left is throwing molotov cocktails and spray-tagging buildings. They're not trying to avoid violence at all, and that'll remain true right up through the inevitable return of late-60s/early-70s bombing campaigns..

Won't you, please, be my neighbor?
Don't forget who won the Ultimate Battle of Ultimate Destiny.
Or Ned Flanders? Soonly-doodily.
Hence why we are all watching that gym so closely...
Don't pray that it doesn't happen.
Pray for God's will to be done.

This is brilliant. The analog vs digital point is VERY accurate.
