I definitely do not agree with the Beanie Merchant on several issues. I will say, though, is that he's extremely offended by what the Left has done with his issues (nothing but drag them through chaos and violence), and he's calling the Left's actions and words for what they are: Communist bullshit.
He's what I call an honest opponent - he knows when to call bullshit on his own side's positions. He doesn't necessarily agree with our side, but he definitely does not agree with our opponents any more.
OK, this take I can agree with. As long as it's clear that he's not on our side. People here imagine that Tim is "secretly red pilled", but the truth is he's still in love with the idea that leftism is something pure and somehow better. He hasn't yet realized that what he's seeing is real leftism in action. It doesn't ever approach his ideals.

I get the idea he also lurks here on occasion...

Agreed. He's only "on our side" because he's opposing what the Left is currently doing with his beloved issues. He will always be left of center.
Amazing to watch, as he realizes the Left has gone so far extreme that he seems conservative by comparison.
He's not as "red-pilled" as some people think.
Maybe not, but his activity in the public space is a net positive for our side.
