Asia is a massive continent. Russians, koreans, japanese, thai, chinese, etc.
They are distinct in culture and political support. Koreans, for example, tend to be more right wing. China is so massive that it has it's own distinct races and cultures. Some Chinese look almost Japanese, some look almost Mongolian.
So I'm not sure what you mean by "Asian" but I'd say most American Asians tend to lean at least socially conservative. The left wing ones may not understand that Americans don't trust the media and may use it as a tool to become "informed."
I think when most people refer to Asians, at least here in the US, they are referring to East Asians (primarily Koreans, Chinese, and Japanese), which is what I was referring to. Technically, Russia is part of Asia but let's be real. Nobody refers to Russians as Asians. But you're right, there are a lot of conservative Asians out there, too.
