Cause taking over the world through force is never going to happen. You have to get people to give you the world, but that in itself is hard. Power as it were, is divided up amongst the five Cs. Clan, Community, Church, Commerce and Country.
The clan is your family and close friends. When you do stuff for them, you're giving up some of your power to your clan. Community is a little more spread out, could be some gaming group or your local area. Church is pretty simple as its your religion and beliefs. Commerce is where things really take off cause it becomes so easy to create a force amplifer (The power put into it by everyone is less than what comes out.) and country is your goverment of course.
For someone to be able to take over the world, they have to reduce population, and also reduce and eliminate everything else other than the one world goverment.
