Originally I was hoping for a rockstar-like party, but now I think if they just had a regular old nominating convention with political speakers talking about why they support Trump, and Trump - in a positive but straightforward manner - outlining his agenda for the next four years, if would look absolutely refreshing and sane compared to the DNC shitshow.
I can see the news spin now: "Trump has speech literally 100x longer than Biden. Is he just wasting America's time? Biden's speech was only 8 seconds long before the cameras quickly panned away and they stowed him back in the bunker, but Trump spoke for a whole 14 minutes." (Note to casual readers: this is true. His speech was only 8 seconds long.)
