I'm pretty sure I'm not alone. I'm in my sixties. It was the first time I ever voted for and not against.
I'm only thirty something, but this was the first time I saw anyone voting for instead of against. It wasn't "my opponent is worse" from Trump, it was "I am the best".
They identify with having a weak ineffectual husband who lets them take control. They don't identify with a true leader. The existence of a confident man who gets what he wants frightens and confuses them.
People voted for Trump because Trump represents their views not because his opponent was worse. I appreciate what she said but people voted for Trump because he is doing the work not because joe Biden is worse than Trump.
There was a very large coalition of Never Trumpers who only voted as a vote against Hillary.
