I was a big Bernie supporter in 2016. I hated Bush for getting us into so many wars. I liked Obama when he first came out but became disillusioned when it was clear he was just doing the same shit. You see, my family is Syrian and many Americans don't really understand how stupid Obama's decision to arm the opposition was. At least if you're talking about someone who is supposedly a nobel peace prize winner you have to wonder why someone like that would purposely destabilize a country. Assad is a bad guy, but what Obama was trying to replace him with was 10x worse. With Obama's war mongering and the clear indications of who controlled the Democrat party my eyes were opened. Democrats are not the good guys. They are controlled by evil people who have this veil of righteousness about them and they do a great job conning people into thinking they are the solution of all their problems. But in reality they make nothing better because they continually need to run on the story that they are the world's saviors and people are stupid enough to believe it. Sorry for venting but it sounds like you probably had the same experience as me so I'm sure you feel the same way!
