This is the fault of social media. I encourage all of you to get off of it and let these people follow you when they realize how everyone else is leaving.

SimplePede 198 points ago +203 / -5

It's the fault of the parents. Nobody else. And so long as we aren't willing to put the blame where it rightfully belongs the problem will continue

Yep. If you let the TV and computer raise your children, then you shouldn't be surprised when your children grow up to be degenerates.

There's good and bad lines from Fight Club. It just dawned on me that ANTIFA and Project Mayhem are after the same goals. I always enjoyed the "men's movement" aspects of Fight Club, while hating the communist aspects of it. Ditto for V for Vendetta, but I digress.

What's scary, is that ANTIFA sees themselves as liberators, and they've pushed that into the minds of useful idiots. BLM rioters loot out of envy, ANTIFA 1st goal is not so much taking your stuff, so much as destroying it so that it can no longer be possessed. Granted, they're full of shit, so they might keep you're stuff anyway, but whatever.

“The liberator who destroys my property is fighting to save my spirit. The teacher who clears all possessions from my path will set me free.” ― Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club

That's straight-up Bolshevism. Again, I'll remind myself that the very book and Fight Club movie is programming/propaganda.

20
Phats 20 points ago +20 / -0

The movie and book were great but inherently ironic (idk if it was purposeful or not). The main goal of all the men was to not be a slave to things and materials. They then just became a slave to the whims of Tyler Durden. Either way we’re slaves.

15
GoldenEagle1776 15 points ago +15 / -0

It's funny isn't it? We have free will (most of us do at least) and despite that we always hopelessly become a slave to something.

6
MelonLabia 6 points ago +8 / -2

The book is about slaves to hedonism in the bathouse scene. Re-read some of those fight descriptions...

MelonLabia 9 points ago +11 / -2

Not so fun fact: Fight club is just one giant inside joke and a metaphor for the gay bathouse scene.

Look up who wrote the book.

15
booblitchutz 15 points ago +15 / -0

That's bullshit, IMO. You can own anything you want and live responsibly. If you only live to show what you own, or derive your self worth from your possessions, then yeah it's going to eat your soul.

But if you're grounded in who you are no matter what your socio-economic status, or internet notoriety, or how many "likes" you get or whatever, then your possessions are just things you collect that can either bring you joy or go away with no serious impact.

2
TurdFergusen 2 points ago +3 / -1

Exactly, this copout excuse to call that line brilliant is just mind botteling. I own my house and car. Sure they will need maintenance and upkeep, thats simply personal responsibility.

Nothing in life is free

3
Vonsey 3 points ago +3 / -0

Don’t think its meant so much in the respect that you draw your self-worth from your possessions, but more or less they will begin to have a hold on your life and influence your decisions. Yeah, you can say it’s personal responsibility and ‘nothing in life is free’, but having a mortgage and 60k car can def act as an anchor in life.

1
TurdFergusen 1 point ago +1 / -0

Or be responsible and not buy cars you cannot truely afford with cash? Get that 10 year mortgage on a house you can actually afford? Money management isn't hard. People just overspend.

The parents are also to blame but I think we've basically molded our culture into an attention seeking mini-celeb lifestyle through the use of social media. The parents follow it and pass it down to their kids. The whole thing is disgusting.

31
CodeMonkey 31 points ago +35 / -4

That is true, but at the moment a large segment of the population don't even see it as a problem. We need to be good parents but also attack this at a cultural level.

23
ElbowDeepInIt 23 points ago +25 / -2

I dominate the culture in my home. Communism may not be suitable for a government but it's perfectly suited to a single family household. My home's firewall is more impressive than China's.

I'm all for reversing course on the nation's culture, but I won't put the blame elsewhere for what happens in my home.

18
Belleoffreedom 18 points ago +18 / -0

I taught my kids to listen very carefully to advertising and political speech. I figured they would hear it, anyway.

15
ElbowDeepInIt 15 points ago +15 / -0

I taught my kids

That's the important part. You can't make your kids pariahs by making your home totally free from the culture outside. They need to be taught principle and independent thought to grow into functional adults. The more degenerate parts of society, however, can be removed without consequence.

20
neehl 20 points ago +20 / -0

In the world, not of the world is how I was taught. I’ve seen what happens to kids who are sheltered too much and then exposed to the world suddenly. My friend lost her husband that way. Went on American Ninja Warrior, gained a little bit of fame and couldn’t resist the drugs/alcohol/women that came his way because of an extremely sheltered upbringing. You can’t just teach kids ________ is bad. You have to teach _____ is bad BECAUSE it leads to xyz. When I lived in Los Angeles I had a doctor who told me as soon as his kids were old enough he loaded them in the car and drove along skid row and asked them if this “urban camping” looked fun and told them this could be where they end up if they made certain choices in their life. I think it’s very important to teach kids that all choices have consequences, both good and bad. You can’t pick up one end of the stick without picking up the other. We have too little accountability in today’s society and people are always looking to shift the blame to others.

6
amarie 6 points ago +6 / -0

Fantastic comment!

2
OrangeFruitGood 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sometimes I'm not sure if the parents themselves understand why ____ is bad and if they are just teaching that because it's what they were taught.

We need to be a lot more thorough in explaining the "why" and the consequences to the next generation, as you said. Parents need to put a lot more thought into what they pass on to their children.

17
booblitchutz 17 points ago +17 / -0

I have a neighbor who is generally pretty based, but they joke all the time about their daughter and how they need to keep her "off the pole" because of how she messes around on Facebook chat showing her butt, etc to her friends.

Now, their daughter is very little, so obviously it's innocent from her perspective, but I always feel a little twinge when they joke about that. I just want to tell them to take the fucking ipad from her and get off facebook chat! Literally nothing good will come of that, but they're facebook addicts and won't listen.

Every once in a while I can hear the facebook narratives shit out of their mouths in spite of their usual tendency toward being pretty based and it just crawls up my spine.

Thank God I'm off that poison!

4
Erikabodereka 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yep. They will joke it into existence. I know there is a lot of love for the show It's Always Sunny... besides the fact that Danny Devito has always made my skin crawl, that stupid fucking toll troll song is reprehensible. I will not quote the words. I banned that bullshit show in my house long ago and any overly sexual jokes are always admonished. Some things just aren't funny.

2
JediMasterPepe 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's why I dont like that recently popular anime Seven Deadly Sins(among others). They shove in all the sexual shit wayyyyyy too much. Like, it doesnt bother me when one of them shows throws something in every now and then but when I sit down and watch a few episodesnof a show and theres so much of that garbage it overshadows everything else.. yeah, no. 🤮

1

Social media is inanimate. It's people's faults for participating and obsessing.

I used to be big into social media. Once I realized what I was becoming, I started dropping redpills, knowing I was quitting.

Once I finally quit, I moved to reddit. You know the rest.

Now, this is as "social media" as I get.

19
tigerz 19 points ago +20 / -1

A couple questions for you

How did you overcome your social media addiction and did you ever feel isolated from your friends/family when you quit? If so how do you prevent that loneliness/boredom

19
chesswhilehigh 19 points ago +21 / -2

Not OP but I am a pede with a super addictive personality so I’ll drop some wisdom on you.

We get addicted to things that help us escape from reality. So we need to make real life better.

However you are not always going to be in control of making that change. Sometimes that opportunity will come later. Make as many opportunities as you can, but if you can’t it is better to exchange one addiction for another. Some addictions are time wasters, but some are downright harmful. It would be better to exchange a harmful addiction for a time waster.

As an example, video games are one of the many things I’m addicted to. Playing videos games wastes time. However social media is incredibly toxic to your psychology. It is better to waste some of your time than develop huge psychological issues.

7
booblitchutz 7 points ago +7 / -0

I got rid (completely) of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIN (especially that) and Reddit. The latter wasn't under my real name anyway, but still.

Facebook was the first to go, I realized that all it did was make me hate everyone. I was sick of peering into the worst parts of people's psyche, including family and friends and neighbors. I had enough of it. This "myth" that you will feel isolated, etc is the EXACT SAME FEELING an addict feels when they entertain the notion of quitting their drug. They ask themselves "well if I don't get high, what am I going to do with myself?" It's a stupid thought when you're not addicted, but that's literally the very nature of addiction. It's that little voice inside your head that keeps you using it and when you threaten it, it tries to convince you to keep using.

So no, nothing will happen, you will not miss out on anything. If you need to "keep in touch" you can do it. I can't tell you how many times I've been in a conversation with people and they bring up some "event" that happened on social media, like an argument on a neighborhood page or something stupid like that, and I listen and then when they address me, I say "I don't know, I don't use Facebook". They can't process it and it feels SO GOOD I wish I could bottle the feeling of shame that comes from them being confronted about their stupid addiction. They feel weak in my presence.

Loneliness and boredom COMES from your social media addiction, it creates a feeling of isolation and it's like how saccharine tricks your brain into thinking it's getting a reward, but its false and just leaves you wanting the real thing.

Be strong and dump it all in one shot. Don't make a "swan song" goodbye and wait for people to react. Don't say a word. Just dump it, delete all your profiles, and delete it from your life in one silent shot.

Then the world opens up to you.

2
tigerz 2 points ago +2 / -0

What do you do with the time that you would have normally spent on Facebook

2
booblitchutz 2 points ago +2 / -0

I try to spend it not looking at a screen, for one thing. I've taken up a few hobbies in the last few years, one of which is a 5 day per week Crossfit regimen. That helped re-adjust my mindset and introduced me to a bunch of new people that I talk to in person.

Another hobby has been working on my conceal carry draw and fire movement. If I need something to do with my hands and attention, I unload my pistol and work on dry fire training.

A lot of the time my social media habit just happened while I was already doing other things, eating, watching TV, working, hanging out with friends/family.. I would be already doing those things and whip out my phone and do some facebooking. It was fairly unusual for me to be doing NOTHING but social media, but picking up something new should be enough.

It's really not as bad as you think, but you gotta make it a clean break. Don't post a swan song that "I'm leaving FB forevaaaaah.." and wait for people to beg you to stay. Just silently nuke your profile.

6
magaparty 6 points ago +6 / -0

One of the things that helps the most (especially in COVID days and in keeping up with geographically distant friends) is having long phone calls with close friends. I feel less isolated now than when I was addicted to social media.

I beg to differ. The nation was never like this before social media. Here we are seeing its effects.

4
booblitchutz 4 points ago +4 / -0

Social media isn't just a raw collection of people, it's very specifically built and operated toward the purpose of encouraging people to open up a direct conduit between their Id and their thumbs. It's designed down to the last pixel to engage that part of your brain, from the colors to the UX to backend algorithms and manual management.

It is as addictive as any drug and twice as hard to quit. Take it from me, the ONLY thing even REMOTELY close to social media I use is this site and honestly I feel bad about how much I'm here.

3
cccpneveragain 3 points ago +3 / -0

I ditched Twitter most recently and outside of coming on here for discussion I'm done with social media. I don't think I was ever much of a participant in any of them outside of Reddit. I text with friends and family I know personally and that's it. Good old school texting. I grew up in the "anonymous forum" internet like this site and that's the only environment I ever wanted to talk in anyway. I have an extremely unique name, meaning if you were to have my first and last name you are highly likely to be able to find me--so that might be a big reason I was always reluctant.

Don't miss it at all. I'm supposed to be of the "connected" generation and I can and have gone days without my phone. It's a great feeling learning to disconnect. Understanding that if the phone rings or you get a message--you are allowed to ignore it. Yes, I still spend a lot of time online but it's a totally different feeling of freedom when you're the master in that relationship.

3
Deadangles 3 points ago +8 / -5

Social media is fine. Just unfollow people who over sexualize themselves, glorify promiscuity, glorify profanity, glorify their misbehaving toddlers as "cute/funny" and associate with normal people

6
booblitchutz 6 points ago +7 / -1

Social media, in addition to being mental poison, is also nothing but a MASSIVE attack vector. You are giving potential attackers a HUGE vulnerability by having your name and literally any kind of info about you available.

This is where LinkedIn is the most dangerous of all social media publishers. You are putting your name, your employer, your specialties, your education, your employment history, your coworkers names, your residential history and on and on and on. Then you combine that with Facebook where you have your hometown, your demographics, your granular info on your entire social connections, your likes, your dislikes, your opinions, your politics, your family and for some insane people, your direct contact information!

WHY ON GODS GREEN FUCKING EARTH WOULD YOU EXPOSE YOURSELF LIKE THAT TO THE INTERNET, PEOPLE?!! ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE?!!

Become a ghost on the internet, no trace. When someone wants to find you they get nothing. When someone wants to destroy you they have no ammo. 99% of the time if there's no public scalp to take, they will not even bother.

2
Deadangles 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, but if you do it safely. I.e. private facebook with limited personal information and selective friends.

2
booblitchutz 2 points ago +4 / -2

I have no idea what else I can do for you, buddy. It's got its hooks in you pretty deep. God bless.

2
Deadangles 2 points ago +3 / -1

This site right here is social media bud

4
booblitchutz 4 points ago +4 / -0

I think this site is more of an image/discussion board. There's not a notion of "social connections" as currency here. You don't have friends or networks and I certainly cant fathom how you could use .win as a substitute for social interaction, the way Facebook, et al are. Same goes for Reddit, really.

The addictive and dangerous part of social media is how it tickles the reward center of your brain and drives you to expose more and more of yourself for more rewards. Hard to argue .win does that.

1
Libertas_Vel_Mors 1 point ago +1 / -0

LinkedIn is a bit different, as long as you do not engage in it for social purposes.

You put your stuff up, polish it a bit, then leave it alone. You go sniffing there when you want or need a new job, or look at the occasional recruiter trying to bug you to go work for someone else, but that's about it.

Anyone who uses LinkedIn as a social platform to wave their ass on (especially for political reasons) is an idiot.

2
booblitchutz 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's missing the point. You are putting your name and personal details out there. It doesn't take much effort to line up your LinkedIn profile with other social media you use. So even if you DONT put anything in LinkedIn other than your employment and highly personal details you stupidly put in LinkedIn I mentioned above, you can very easily be lined up to your other social media profiles by an attacker.

I think LinkedIn is by far the most dangerous attack vector though, not just for people looking to hurt you for vengeance but for fraud, identity theft and extortion.

1
Libertas_Vel_Mors 1 point ago +1 / -0

"with other social media you use"

Therein lies the trick. Don't use any other social media.

1
booblitchutz 1 point ago +1 / -0

What about the vast wealth of information people willingly put up on their LinkedIn profile? You keep ignoring my point about that. It's a perfect trove of info to use for fraud, identity theft and extortion!

5
amarie 5 points ago +5 / -0

Agreed. My husband was from France. Our daughter and I never met his French relatives before he died of lung cancer. We are able to stay in contact with them through Facebook and it's translation feature. Social media, like real life friendships, is all in what you make it.

10
Beef_Vegan 10 points ago +11 / -1

16

31
Overkillengine 31 points ago +33 / -2

Unless you address the abuse of the welfare system, all that effectively accomplishes is putting a disproportionate economic burden on productive single men that are not part of the problem to begin with, because they are not the men that these single moms are getting knocked up by.

And the productive single men have little reason to marry tax credits or not, when in practice a woman can renege on the marriage contract and take half or more of the commingled assets despite whether or not she actually contributed a proportionate amount thereof.

Basically society needs to both stop rewarding people for bad decision making and also stop reassigning the consequences of such to others.

Only doing one or the other is not going to fix the issue.

14
auroch 14 points ago +15 / -1

Agreed; welfare reform is a fantastic idea.

No, but it may help curb the single mom epidemic by discouraging divorce.

22
FutureMan 22 points ago +27 / -5

Oh for that, just eliminate no fault divorce. Right now a woman can simply decide she wants to get divorced, and the courts will give it to her.

Make it so that the woman has to give a valid reason for wanting to divorce. "He doesn't excite me anymore" is not a valid reason.

And even then, if she can't get the divorce, she'll still get pumped on the side by gigaChad from Facebook.

14
GoldenEagle1776 14 points ago +16 / -2

Taking the female favor out of the courts would help more more than giving a tax break on the married.

4
MobileDev4Trump 4 points ago +4 / -0

...we use to have shotgun weddings for that. The argument is now rather than making the guy take responsibly we hand out welfare checks and thereby discourage marriage since the state replaces the man as the provider for the child and mother.

6
FutureMan 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yessir. The bleeding hearts say it's so cruel to force people to marry that aren't compatible with each other. Well, maybe they should have thought about that before sticking that dick into that pussy?

4
America1stAndOnly 4 points ago +5 / -1

Jesus warned us all about this 2000 years ago. Turns out it was pretty good advice.

2
EntilZha 2 points ago +9 / -7

Who gets to define "degenerate"?

13
GoldenEagle1776 13 points ago +24 / -11

Adultery, homosexuality, pedophilia, perversion. The typical shit that's been called degenerate since forever.

-12
EntilZha -12 points ago +7 / -19

Are you also in favor of burning heretics at the stake? That's was done forever too.

So no homosexuality between consenting adults?...then using an undefined term like "perversion" again, who gets to define that? The church? Because, you know...it always worked out so well when the church ran countries.

4
America1stAndOnly 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'd say that Jesus defined it pretty well.

-3
EntilZha -3 points ago +1 / -4

Well I'm about to trigger the fuck out of you.

You don't get to just declare your deity real and make public policy based on it and no one else does.

-5
FutureMan -5 points ago +8 / -13

12
GoldenEagle1776 12 points ago +17 / -5

We had laws against adultery and homosexuality in this country only 70 years ago. Moral laws don't equate a theocracy or we would have been one most of our Republic's existence.

-7
FutureMan -7 points ago +5 / -12

Those are theocratic laws. In a sense, the Republic has been theocratic. That's part of the reason behind the rebellion that started with women's suffrage, and the 60's flower power.

14
Unapologist 14 points ago +16 / -2

Get the government out of the relationship business entirely. There is no divorce because there is no marriage. The declarations of marriage are handled by the church as a religious practice, and the government may neither recognize nor enforce nor establish it due to the first amendment. Your church decides when you are married and divorced, to the extent that you respect your church's decision or are wiling to choose a different church and/or religion. This also means no child support, no alimony, no child-based welfare perks for unwed mothers, and a cheating woman who drives her man away with incessant nagging gets kicked out to the curb on her own to deal with the consequences of her actions, unless the the church is willing to provide its funds as charity, because the church has no legal authority to enforce these things with. If you want to deal with the fatherlessness epidemic, you have to stop rewarding women for making fatherless homes.

8
MakeAmericaLegendary 8 points ago +9 / -1

The government is in marriage because marriage is entangled with taxation rules. You're going to have to gut those too.

13
Unapologist 13 points ago +13 / -0

If you'll look at the comic again, getting the next generation is the least of our issues. And marriage has less than ever to do with it. And yes, I'm a libertarian on many stances. I don't actually care what's in the government's best interest, I care what's in the people's best interest. Government doesn't need this power, it just wants it for its own sake. And so it shouldn't have it. When homes with fathers are promoted, you'll get your next generation in a better way, and they'll be better for it.

Sorry dude, but no.

Marriage is a spiritual union that has secular benefits (inheritance, ensured/implied support for mother and children, etc.)

Breeding is easy - we've been doing that for millions of years before any government was invented.

It seems to me most Republicans (and conservatives in general) are a bunch of fucking cunts. We get power, we do nothing with it. The shitlibs get power, they ram a broomstick up our keister. We get power again, we don't even roll back the damage, just hold the line again.

For fucks sakes even WITH Trump in power right now, it's basically the same deal. The problem is that as of about a decade or so, the left has too much power. What it would take for us to turn the tide means we are risking everything, even death. So instead, we will die slowly as the communists take us apart piece by piece.

It’s also been proven there are 3 simple steps to guarantee a 98% chance you will not be in “poverty” and a 74% change of attaining “middle class”:

  1. Graduate from high school

  2. Have a full-time job

  3. Wait to get married until after 21 and do not have children until you are married

That’s it. Really, it’s that simple. Break these 3 rules and you have a 76% chance of going into “poverty”. Oh and by the way this all was concluded by the far left Brookings Institute.

36
tombombadil 36 points ago +42 / -6

Part of this is on guys too. Stop having sex with easy roasties who you are not willing to marry and raise kids with. If you do this then women will start to behave differently as well.

The thot patrol thing is one of the most important memes ever because it tells women that we don’t actually like it when you are a whore.

33
slrpnls 33 points ago +36 / -3

People probably think I'm weird but I always wanted to wait for marriage and to this day my wife is the only woman I've slept with.

15
meals23 15 points ago +20 / -5

it's not weird pede it's admirable

men and women experience a thing called pair bonding, when you have sex with another person your brain releases hormones that make you feel really good being with that person and having sex with just that person

it's less pronounced in men than it is in women, and it also varies in strength on an individual basis, but it's still there, and the more people you have sex with the more those brain chemicals start to dull until eventually you have completely obliterated your ability to pair bond.

-7
Italians_Invented_2A -7 points ago +5 / -12

Bullshit.

If you find the right person for you I'll assure you you'll feel the bond even if you've banged lots of sluts beforehand.

On the other hand, if you're virgin or inexperienced when you meet the one you might blow it.

A man needs to be sexually experienced.

6
meals23 6 points ago +6 / -0

I mean human beings are more than just a collection of chemicals, we have the capability to do anything we want to. I'm just talking about a chemical reaction that occurs in your brain, similar to how people who are addicted to narcotics need stronger and stronger doses to feel the same high

I also said that it's less pronounced in men than it is in women

-5
Italians_Invented_2A -5 points ago +1 / -6

Yes people in love feel a high.

But the tolerance that you see with some drugs (where you need always higher doses) doesn't happen with sex, because your brain resets.

6
Libertas_Vel_Mors 6 points ago +6 / -0

Really? Explain fetishes, Hentai, and similar extreme porn.

The brain reacts to an overload of sex like it reacts to an overload of anything else.

4
Libertas_Vel_Mors 4 points ago +4 / -0

You have got to be shitting me.

You set up a Catch-22 there - a man cannot have sex unless he's already had sex? Seriously?

You won't "blow it" if you've found "the one" - unless you only learned about sex from porn, that's not how sex works.

-3
Italians_Invented_2A -3 points ago +1 / -4

A man cannot impress a woman with his self confidence and dominance if he's not sexually experienced, is what I'm saying.

It doesn't work like in porn, that's exactly why you need notches on your belt.

The difference in our thinking is probably caused by me thinking that a woman will choose you as a life partner even based on your sexual prowess (after taking you for a test ride), while you think that sex is something that happens only after the deal is done.

The thot patrol thing is one of the most important memes ever because it tells women that we don’t actually like it when you are a whore.

Quoted because it's that important.

This is the part we need to blastvertise. Teach girls something like this:

"...no man respects a slut. Yeah, dudes will bang you right up until someone prettier comes along. Is that what you want, to be used and disposed of like a sperm-rag? No? Then get your self-respect and make him work his ass off for it, preferably with a ring. Do it now, while you're young and pretty, so you can get your pick, and not have to settle."

And yes, I have a daughter. And yes, she got a very similar speech. She and her husband are happily married, and have been for about 5 years now.

-4
Italians_Invented_2A -4 points ago +4 / -8

Why would a woman who enjoys casual sex have no self respect?

Did you tell your daughter that sex is supposed to be pleasurable for her too, and not just a way to attract a provider?

11
Libertas_Vel_Mors 11 points ago +11 / -0

Sex is totally a pleasurable thing, and both parties should get enjoyment out of that, but you conflate pleasure and casual sex, as if that jolt of dopamine were the only goal.

Casual sex is disposable. It actually removes the biggest component of pleasure from the act (the complete giving of oneself to the other, and the gift of the other person giving completely of him/herself to you.) Reducing sex to something that you just go get like it were a tub of ice cream cheapens the whole experience, and can lead towards some rather nasty things: self-abuse, adultery, and psychological burnout.

I would strongly suggest that you read "Theology of The Body" by John Paul II. In it, you will find a far more thorough explanation of the beauty of sex, and why it should remain within marriage.

One last bit, like it or lump it, women, unlike men, have an expiration date and a relatively limited window of opportunity in life. They also are more psychologically victimized by casual sex than men are, because men are hard-wired for casual polygamy, whereas women are hard-wired for monogamy.

3
incogneato 3 points ago +3 / -0

(Women) are more psychologically victimized by casual sex than men are, because men are hard-wired for casual polygamy, whereas women are hard-wired for monogamy.

This. Women are wired to need their mate to STAY. That goes back to the caveman days. If he pumps and dumps, she could be left alone with a baby to raise - and that would have been a death sentence for both of them, with no caveman to hunt meat for them and protect them.

Some women can do casual sex for a while, but then the repeated rejections take their toll and she becomes unable to handle it when he leaves. Plenty of women have been labeled as "crazy" when the real problem is that the casual sex has started to feel real, real bad.

-4
Italians_Invented_2A -4 points ago +1 / -5

I upvote your post, but I'm not convinced.

Even in casual sex you can completely give yourself to the other person. It's like living a brief fantasy where instead of being alone, for that moment you have a partner.

I don't know if you've ever had casual sex; and I'm talking about the good kind: a date or few dates and conversation to get to know each other. Or fuck buddies. In these cases you do feel an intimate and personal connection.

The only thing that lacks is the commitment to spend the rest of your life with her.

It's a bit like career choices: some people prefer to be a permanent employee, others prefer being an independent contractor.

6

That is why I love the thot patrol thing. Feminists were successful in convincing normies that “slut shaming” is not okay. Thot patrol is slut shaming, but doing it in a more persuasive way that you can’t really defend against. Now it’s not about them being a slut, but about protecting my bro’s from sluts. It has an even greater shaming effect. It has the persuasion level that is necessary to change behavior across an entire culture.

Single mothers at home. Female dominated schools up to college. Most men with single mothers are NEVER free until they live on their own and SIMP their way into an abusive relationship with another female who has been told her entire life her queen-like shit doesn't stink..she can be anything she wants! Now she takes this entitlement and browbeats him into what the media has told her he should be.

Rinse and repeat.

Do I think the fathers who dip are partly to blame? Totally! but I also know there are MANY more cases of men being KEPT FROM fathering their children.

Depends on the state because of state’s rights. A majority of states allow underage drinking when on private property and with a family member. Linked is a 6 min read that dives a bit into some nuance. By no means exhaustive but it’s pretty educating:

3
FutureMan 3 points ago +6 / -3

I should add that I think the ancients did realize that the sexual drive was something that needed to be controlled. Hence all these laws and stipulations trying to manage it. The idea of monogamy is a great one. Self control is also a good thing.

1
FutureMan 1 point ago +4 / -3

I've always wondered why god was so desperate to populate the Earth. I mean, he tied the one thing that feels the most pleasurable to a human being, with conception of a child. And there's no escaping it. It's a natural innate addiction all human beings are born with.

2

She's 5 now and I haven't heard a bad word out of her since.

Don't cuss around your kids and they won't cuss, plain and simple, don't watch Cardi B videos around you kids and they won't shake their ass, don't let your kids watch adult themed movies and they won't try to be sexy/slutty like the actresses may be in the movie. They see how adults act and they want to do that, and they don't understand that some things you shouldnt do until you're an adult, and some things adults do isn't right and you should never do.

Just my 2 cents.

We’ve been watching Shameless on Netflix and it is the most depraved show I’ve ever seen. There is nothing the show won’t explore AND SHOW. However the character development is good and you can’t help but watch the train wreck.

Explicit drug use, gay sex, underage sex with adults, every curse word you can think of. Tons of sex.

Riverdale show was similar, though it wasn’t explicit. But it did imply school kids doing drugs, alcohol, sex, gayness.

I had a huge argument with a normie coworker once about the normalization of pedophilia. He just couldn't believe it was happening, even after I showed him the pics of the trans kid who was dancing at gay bars for money. He said that was NYC and didn't apply to the rest of the country and that normal Americans would never let it happen. I told him that normal Americans (like him) don't think it's happening, so there's no push back. I also told him that ten years ago gay marriage was illegal and to look at where we are now. He dismissed all of it and called me crazy.

Well, he's going to have to eat those words sooner or later unless there's a 1776 moment in the near future. And it's people like that who are partially responsible for a 1776 moment.

Tomorrow I'm going over to my sister's house so I can talk about intersectional politics with her kids who will soon be going to college. My sister and her husband don't pay attention to the news and don't follow politics very much at all, but want their children to hear about it from me first, before they get brainwashed.
