I had a huge argument with a normie coworker once about the normalization of pedophilia. He just couldn't believe it was happening, even after I showed him the pics of the trans kid who was dancing at gay bars for money. He said that was NYC and didn't apply to the rest of the country and that normal Americans would never let it happen. I told him that normal Americans (like him) don't think it's happening, so there's no push back. I also told him that ten years ago gay marriage was illegal and to look at where we are now. He dismissed all of it and called me crazy.

Well, he's going to have to eat those words sooner or later unless there's a 1776 moment in the near future. And it's people like that who are partially responsible for a 1776 moment.

Tomorrow I'm going over to my sister's house so I can talk about intersectional politics with her kids who will soon be going to college. My sister and her husband don't pay attention to the news and don't follow politics very much at all, but want their children to hear about it from me first, before they get brainwashed.
