All of this absolute hogwash is being mass mailed to all of us hundred of thousands of medical professionals DAILY.

When you get a bike, first get a small used one for about $2k. Learn to ride it well. Learn how to fix and maintain it. Don't be afraid to drop it. Then after 2-3 years, sell it for what you pay for it, and buy that big boy you got your heart set on.

I'm supporting local candidates where I live that will keep it based and there still is a fight. And, I am sending money to MAGA candidates in districts I'll never live in. My time for formal public service (i.e., running for office) is passed, but I'll use my resources to supporting candidates that are going to end mask mandates and peel back the short term power grabs. THEN, the grocery stores in that area will have a corporate choice to make on enforcing city/county mandates. Customers don't really want to where masks, despite the ham planets and assholes yelling "wear a mask". Corporations need customers, so they will fold.

I get that. And I wasn't bragging (or didn't mean to come off that way). fwiw, I'm willing to lose all that to do what's right whether it comes to me or I have to go to it.
I'm supporting local candidates where I live that will keep it based and there still is a fight. And, I am sending money to MAGA candidates in districts I'll never live in. My time for formal public service (i.e., running for office) is passed, but I'll use my resources to supporting candidates that are going to end mask mandates and peel back the short term power grabs. THEN, the grocery stores in that area will have a corporate choice to make on enforcing city/county mandates. Customers don't really want to where masks, despite the ham planets and assholes yelling "wear a mask". Corporations need customers, so they will fold.
This national issue is still very local. Ask your local mayor/councilmen/etc "Do you support mask mandates?" Any answer other than "No" means you have a weasel and they don't deserve your vote.
We have to take the power back.

People are willing because they're scared. Fear, like memory, wears off though. But that's why there are constant reminders on the TV and internet.

I was instructed to immediately quarantine myself for 14 days and call another # to confirm compliance. Haven’t been to NY in 8 years.

Their plans to fix the election are certainly in but their odds of to success are pretty low. We have only won over people since 2016. Nobody is moving INTO their camp. Mail in voting will mostly only go through in places Trump couldn't have won anyway, and having zero effect on the election. Even places it does an overwhelming win in real votes would be enough to tip the scales back in our favor. The way so many people here totally underestimate Trump and this movement is pretty sad. If in 2016 a few thousand more people had gone the route of apathy and defeatism, buying into the notion that it was rigged and there was no point in voting... We would have lost.
