I feel like a beacon of hope to the world when I go out in CA. Store employees run up with smiling eyes to ask if I need help like I'm a celebrity. I've only been asked to leave one store. I asked if i could put my tshirt over my chin and he said that was fine.

I think its psychologically painful to not see people's faces for them.
