I used to work for a govt program that gave assistance to low income parents and i actually quit because I couldn’t keep working there after seeing everything I did everyday. Moms who smoked the entire pregnancy, never completed the program and still would show up asking for formula and car seats sporting a fresh mani and driving a $40000 car. Also the absolute abuse of resources being given to women who had multiple kids they couldn’t afford (one had ELEVEN!) and we still gave them free shit instead of a depo shot. The source of this abuse is that they are rewarded for being irresponsible and use their kids as little paychecks, ignore them and then these hellspawn are released at the age of 18 onto the rest of society where they just continue the cycle. Anyways that’s my rant sorry if I rambled.
