You can get a 13/14 year old pregnant and I'm pretty sure I've actually seen some sickos arguing that you should legally be allowed to have sex with kids since evolution has made them childbearing at that age. It's like their version of the "Natural" argument. Once you menstruate it's fair game.
Maybe 500 years ago. When 27 year old "kids" can get on their parent's health insurance, I'm thinking the age of consent/voting age needs to be raised to when you start paying taxes/become independent.
